1871 single action colt .45 army revolver value?

This revolver has been in my famaily since it was issued to my great great grandfather and we were curious of its value to add to our log of heritage. It is in mint condition and is very well taken care of any help on identifing its worth would be greatly appreciated.

hello ,,you say this is a 1871 pistol how did you determine this ? also you say its a 45 army revolver how did you come to that conclusion?the single action army was first introduced in 1873 ,,can you provide the serial number so i can cross refrence it with a list of serial numbers ,,there was a single action revolver with patent dates of 1871+1872 these were chambered for the 44 rimfire cartridge ,,the 1873 revolver or peacmaker as it was sometimes refered to was available in 45 colt but the two are completly different in appearance ,,the 1871 looks more like a blackpowder revolver where as the 1873 looks like the guns from cowboy lore ,,need to know which one and what the top of the barrel says exactly,,and a serial number will determine when it was made ,,just list the serial number like this 123,xxx or if longer just replace the last 3 numbers with x's

the barrel is 7.5" long and the patten date is 1871 it looks like the old cowboy style pistol its got the wood hand grip and is a 45 because thats the rounds we fire out of it the serial # starts with (sa) and is followed by four other numbers.
