Is it a MP serial # or RCMP # there's a big difference in price. BTW if it's a MP# let me know I would like to buy it.

How do you determine whether of not it's am MP or a RCMP?
My father just sent me one of these rifles and it appears to be unfired. The serial number is #10757.

OK. This thread is a mess with multiple questions on different subjects.

The '66 centennial rifle or carbine if unfired are around $650.

The RCMP rifle will have RCMP preceding the serial number up to 10442 and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Member Issue will have MP preceding the serial number up to 5100. They are valued the same, about $900 apiece.

Any different questions please start a new thread.

Thanks
